Armas Hotels Group Covid-19 Declaration

As Armas Hotels, the health of our valued guests is very important for us.

Our main aim is to ensure you holiday in a hygienic, safe and healthy environment.

That is why, through this declaration we would like to briefly share with you our increased hygiene and cleaning measures taken due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and in order to be prepared to any other possible epidemic risks that may occur in future,

Due to COVID-19 Pandemic a new set of standards have been added to our hygiene and cleanliness procedures that we implement in our hotels that we operate in Turkey (Antalya and Kirsehir cities) regarding;

• Publication of the World Health Organization (WHO) titled as "Operational considerations for COVID-19 management in the accommodation sector"
• Statements and recommendations of the Ministry of Health of Turkish Republic,
• Opinions and suggestions of local health units and sector unions.

Our Central Pandemic Monitoring Board, which was established at the very beginning of the pandemic process, constantly follows the agenda and developments. With the determinations and suggestions of our Board, necessary revisions in procedures and applications are made.

In addition, thanks to fast and healthy communication, we have made a quick decision to establish Workplace Health and Safety Committees under the chairmanship of our General Managers, which will be in charge of implementing created action plans and provision of necessary trainings to workers.

System operating in Armas Hotels consists of 4 designed dimensions Management Standards, Concept Standards, Operation Standards, Quality, Health and Safety Standards.

‘Risk Analysis and Improvement’ approach ensures that each of our processes is periodically reviewed and tested within the scope of predictions and possible disaster risks.

Continuous supervision and continuous improvement philosophy prevails in ensuring the continuity of the standards. In this context, the Internal Audit mechanism is operated continuously. Internal Audits are carried by authorized managers and teams.

Our hotels are constantly inspected and monitored on every different subject by External expert authorities.

Measures and Hygiene Rules Related to Our Employees

The hygiene of our hotel employees, who are in direct or indirect contact with you, our valuable guests, and in contact with each other, is one of the most important factors for an effective general hygiene practice. Due to this we are taking the following precautions:

• The service vehicles used by our employees on their way to work and back are organized in accordance with the social distance rules. Our employees must wear a protective mask during transfers. With the disinfectants in the service vehicles, our employees provide personal disinfection during boarding and leaving the transfer. Our service vehicles are regularly disinfected
• Our employees undergo a general health screening and temperature measurements with digital thermometers before work. The workers who have fever and seems to be ill are not allowed to work. Our staff, who do not feel well, has been instructed not to come to work and follow the procedures.
• Staff uniforms are frequently changed, washed and workers undergo disinfection before starting to work.
• There is sufficient quantity of disinfection units available in staff common areas and in the background working units. No matter which department of our staff works, despite of disinfecting their hands, they must wash their hands every hour according to the rule.
• Housekeeping, cleaning services, food & beverage and the background workers, such as dishwashers, must wear masks and disposable gloves.

• There are posters and brochures on pandemic and hygiene, and safe distance rule is applied in in the personnel common areas.
• In all our hotels there are Certified Doctors, who work for our employees. There are action plans for different possible situations.
• From the beginning of the pandemic process all our staff is constantly having training sessions regarding the pandemic, protection methods and contamination conditions, which are provided by expert firms and health teams

Disinfection Procedures

All the Guest Rooms in all our Hotels, Restaurants, Bars, SPA and Wellness Units, Kids Clubs and Playgrounds, General Areas, Meeting Rooms, Congress Halls and all other guest areas, Kitchen Areas, Stuff only Areas, offices and warehouses were disinfected with Hydrogen Peroxide based known and approved materials

• Disinfection procedures carried out by professional teams will regularly continue
• In addition, our mobile disinfection teams formed within our hotels taking necessary actions
Our General Areas Cleaning and Hygiene Rules

All our hotels work with Diversey Company, which is internationally known for chemical cleaning products. Diversey Company regularly provides detailed training to all our personnel. For this reason, it is ensured that proper chemicals are used in proper quantity during cleaning. Cleaning is carried out with suitable cleaning materials and different equipment for each area.

• In all public areas and WCs, permanently touched surfaces, door handles, handrails, elevators, elevator buttons, sinks, faucets, toilets as always big attention paid to cleaning, after cleaning with water and detergent diluted bleach and chlorine tablets are used.
• One of two urinals is kept out of use. All the stuff working in these areas will use masks and disposable gloves.
• There are hand disinfection apparatus and units in all general areas, WCs and in every needed points
• Cleaning and disinfection intervals are reduced and controlled through detailed checklists.
• Elevators’ capacity is limited. At the same time, only members of one family, 4 people from the same group or maximum 2 people who do not know each other can use the elevator. Elevator usage instructions are placed in visible places.
• Seating groups in all common and public areas have been rearranged taking into consideration safe distances.

Our Check-in / Check-out Procedure

Dear guests, for your easier and hygienically safer C/in and C/out to our hotels, we have taken a number of additional precautions.

• Luggage and other belongings will be delivered to guests’ room after being disinfected by our trained staff.
• At the entrance doors, our guests will undergo a temperature measurement with a thermometer. In the case if one of the guests have high temperature, due to the Personal Data Protection laws, this information will be shared only with themselves, and necessary actions will be taken due to our action plans.
• Our workers will provide guests with general information regarding applied measures and precautions, welcome cologne will be served and guests will be given hand brochures..
• All measures have been taken to ensure that there is no accumulation at the entrance and exit of our hotels, safe distance ranges are marked and for the case of necessity we have created safe resting areas.
• Indeed prepared and disinfected Room cards will be given to our guests safely in their protected cases. For more safe c/in procedure, when guests wish it is possible to make online c/in through the mail addresses of our relevant hotel.
• Within certain cart limits, contactless POS terminals will be used and these terminals will be constantly disinfected.
• All check-in and check-out transactions that may require contact will be carried out in accordance with the safe physical distance rule.
Rooms

Our aim in all our guests room is to provide you with hygienic and clean environment for accommodation.

• Housekeeping employees and managers of Room Cleaning work with mask and disposable gloves. After each room is cleaned and before starting to clean the other room, hands are washed and masks, gloves and cleaning cloths are replaced with new ones.
• Effective disinfectant and bleach are used while cleaning the rooms, more attention is paid to the surfaces that are constantly touched by hands, door handles, faucets, telephone handset, television remote control, climate control, light switches, kettles, coffee machines, mini bars after being cleaned are also disinfected.
• Linen and Towel materials are daily replaced. To avoid dust and other particles spread, they are not shaken out or beaten while collecting, dirty clothes are collected in separate bags.
• All the used linen and towels are washed at 90 degrees and in sufficient time.
• Guest room amenities prepared for the daily use of our guests are disinfected before being replaced, in addition to standard amenities hand disinfectants have been added to this set for your usage.
• In our Resort Hotels, our mini bar products are received disinfected while the delivery by suppliers, they are kept in a safe environment and served to our rooms.
• After being cleaned our rooms are aired minimum 1 hour.
• Room capacity usage is monitored carefully and each room is used as infrequently as possible. After guests c/out room is cleaned and disinfected and not used for a certain period of time.

Our Food and Beverage Units

All our hotels will not use rooms at full capacity for a certain period, in this way we aim to maintain the safe physical contact distance required in our food and beverage units.

• Our open buffet service system will be decreased to a certain extent, more hygienic and safe materials and equipment will be used in our buffets and will be often replaced by new ones. Self-service won’t be allowed, our responsible employees will constantly present in buffets to provide necessary guidance and service.
• In order reduce the density of our open buffet restaurants at our all-inclusive Resort Hotels, some of our paid A'la Carte Restaurants will offer our guests free of charge set menus
• Hand disinfection equipment will be located at the entrances of all Food & Beverage units and there will be responsible employees who will welcome our guests and provide necessary directions regarding capacity utilizations.
• In all Food&Beverage units, table, chair and sitting distances have been arranged in accordance with the recommended safe distances. Restaurant, bar and general area sizes and capacities of all our hotels are extremely spacious and sufficient.
• Tablecloths and cloth napkins won't be used on our tables, the seasoning sets will be properly disinfected after each use.
• Dishes in our Food & Beverage units will not be washed by hand, but by dishwasher and they will be offered with disposable materials depending on the circumstances.
• With general cleaning of Food&Beverage areas tables, chairs, counters, buffets and all other materials will be properly cleaned and disinfected at the beginning and end of the service

Our Spa & Fitness and Sports Areas
• In order to create extremely hygienic conditions in Turkish Baths, Sauna, Massage and Wellness services pre sanitized materials and disposable materials will be used.
• All of our employees who provide treatments have to disinfect themselves before and after each application, follow established rules and work with masks in dry places.
• Usage capacities of our sauna, Turkish bath and steam rooms are limited according to hygienic conditions.
• All sports equipment, machines and equipment in our Fitness Centres have been rearranged at the appropriate distance and will disinfected immediately after each use.
• General places such as dressing-dressing rooms, showers, WC's, dress closet and keys, all used materials such as towels, bathrobes, loincloth are safely cleaned and disinfected.

Kids Club and Playgrounds

Our children are the most precious for us and of course, it is very important to organise their a safe and fun holiday.

Due to the Circular published by the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Turkey in all the children areas such as Mini Club, playgrounds and amusement parks will be applied social distance rule. At the entrance of children to such areas, temperature will be measured and recorded.

Pool Beach and Entertainment Activities

Sunbeds at our Indoor Pool, Outdoor Pool and Beach areas are set according to the safe physical distance rule. Capacities of beach and pool sides of all our Resort Hotels are extremely sufficient.

To prevent diseases and infections, all the pools are cleaned as usual in accordance with established chemical values.

All sunbeds, sunbed cushions, beach and pool Cabanas and materials are daily cleaned and disinfected as required.

The smooth operation of Indoor Pool ventilation systems is provided.

In our Resort Hotels, sports and entertainment activities will be continued at low capacities and in a soft way in accordance with safe physical distance rules.
